Develop a brand system for a local New Zealand farmer dedicated to making natural ice cream using only organic, sustainable ingredients, free from additives.
When I was tasked with branding a boutique New Zealand ice cream business rooted in authenticity, organic ingredients, and sustainable practices and with an already loyal local following, I knew the story had to honour the heart of Kiwi culture.
Having travelled to New Zealand, I knew I needed to tap into its raw beauty, rich traditions, and mythic storytelling. That’s when Flavourmere was born, a whimsical world where each flavour is brought to life as a character.

From the mysterious Moon Eater to the ever-wandering Dusty, Madame Swirl, and Honeyfig, each scoop holds a tale. Once allies, something fractured their unity... and now we’re left to wonder: who are friends, who are foes, and what really happened?
Each lid reveals a snippet of a story, a whisper inspired by the childhood game of Whispers. Read it, share it, interpret it your own way. But to uncover the full saga with all its twists, alliances, and secrets, you’ll need to venture into the world of Flavourmere online.
A soft, playful colour palette sparked by childhood games and the carefree joy of being a kid brings a sense of wonder to the brand. Set against a rich black backdrop, it adds depth and contrast, helping the packaging feel both nostalgic and thoughtfully refined.
