About Me

Graphic Designer

Hi, I’m Cassy, a Melbourne-based graphic designer with a background in fine art and education, and a deep appreciation for the layers that sit beneath visual work.

I’ve always been drawn to the process behind creative ideas, not just how something looks, but why it matters, where it comes from, and how it connects. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts and spent several years teaching art, building a strong foundation in visual storytelling and creative thinking. Alongside teaching, I explored fashion and worked across various creative mediums, experiences that continue to shape how I approach design: as a dialogue between form and meaning.

Later, I studied graphic design at Shillington, where I refined my skills in branding, packaging, publication, and digital design. The course offered a fast-paced, studio-simulated environment that pushed me to think critically, work collaboratively, and solve problems under real-world time constraints, equipping me with the tools and confidence to take on diverse creative briefs with intention and clarity.

At the heart of my practice is a love of going deep, unpacking the layers behind a brief, asking questions, and drawing from research and intuition to shape concept-driven work. I’m especially drawn to projects that hold duality, emotion, or unexpected beauty.

Whether I’m building a brand, crafting an identity, or shaping a story, my goal is to create work that feels intentional, honest, and alive.

Outside the studio, I love photographing Melbourne’s iconic laneways and street art, diving into a gripping crime podcast, or unwinding with some colouring in.
